K2 - 60 pounds
K2 is a Lightweight (60 pound) bot.  The main weapons are two discs that spin upward at about 5000 rpm. When an opponent is forced up the wedge, they come into contact with the discs and get thrown violently upward. In big impacts, K2 has thrown other bots roughly 4 feet in the air! The bot is 4 wheel drive, the rear wheels driven directly and the front wheels slaved via timing belts. If I get flipped over, it can still move using the rear wheels with the front riding on the little wheel on top.

K2 SolidWorks Render
Before a single piece was cut, the entire robot was modeled in SolidWorks 3D CAD, down to each screw.
Wedge Detail
The wedge supports interlocked into the wedge before they were TIG welded. The groove in this picture was milled in to make bending it easier.

New Discs 2
Under the cap are six 3/8" pins that take the torque from impacts. These were added after RoboGames 2007, so I had to drill these holes in the already-hardened discs. It took several hours with a carbide die drill.

Crazy CAD render I made. I had this printed up at 20"x30" to hang in my cubicle at work. Warning, full-size picture is extremely large!
